The Perfect Power SMT8LW is the featured engine management system that packs a punch. The SMT8LW works with the existing Engine Control Unit (ECU) to provide the perfect fuel and ignition for your engine, delivering maximum power, better fuel consumption and enhanced engine response. From a basic to an advance engine control unit piggy back application, the SMT8LW will manage almost any engine situation with ease. . The SMT8LW operates in synchronization with the standard ECU to perfect the engine’s efficiency with its many large 3 dimensional tune maps, regardless of the engine modifications done.

The SMT8LW is exactly the same engine control unit as the SMT8L, just that it has another bonus feature, wireless communication. The advantage of the wireless communication is that the SMT8LW can be installed anywhere within the passenger compartment and still have communication to the outside world. The range of the SMT8LW is about 10m and can only be accessed by WireX (Communication Pod). The communication is not WiFi compatible.
